Film deliverables and quote scope checks
A main film, a vertical cut and a captioned master are different commitments. Give each output a clear place in the quote so the client and production team can see what is included.
Available. No Gmail or AI connection is needed to prepare and check scope.
One deliverable, clearly named versions
Add each distinct Film, Live stream or Shoot only deliverable separately. Give a campaign film a duration, then name its master, social cut, captioned version or other outputs and specify their delivery formats.
For example, a campaign film with a 16:9 master and a captioned 9:16 cut is one deliverable with two versions. A separate interview film is another deliverable. Quote v1 and v2 describe revisions to the commercial proposal, not those delivery versions.
Make the production allowance explicit
Record shoot requirements and included revision rounds. If filming or revisions are not required, say so. For shoot-only work, name the raw-footage handover and its format; a finished-film duration is not required.
The written scope holds other allowances, client responsibilities, dependencies and exclusions. The structured fields support that agreement; they do not decide what your team should promise.
Resolve missing details before sending
Save an incomplete draft while questions are open. The editor shows missing required details and blocks sending or recording a structured quote as sent until they are resolved.
- Shoot requirements and revision allowance.
- At least one named deliverable.
- Duration for films and live streams.
- At least one named delivery version with a format for each deliverable.
Keep human review in the process
Scope ready for review means the required fields are complete. A producer still checks the content against the conversation, price and delivery commitments. These checks do not use AI and cannot recognise an omitted promise from an email.
The accepted scope stays with the job. Delivery tasks are created from its versions, and later changes can be priced as separate variations.
Common questions
Does this store the videos?
No. The CRM stores deliverable specifications and tasks. Footage, review and file delivery stay in your existing tools.
Do old quotes need rewriting?
Earlier written-only quotes remain usable. Their scope is preserved. New structured quotes use the scope checks, and existing jobs are not given tasks retrospectively.
