From accepted quote to production tasks
Carry the work you sold into the work the team needs to deliver. Recording acceptance preserves the agreement and creates the delivery tasks from its named versions.
Available. The team records acceptance with evidence from the client.
Use the quote the client actually accepted
Open the sent quote, choose Record acceptance and enter evidence of who agreed, when and where. Set the job owner and delivery date. The job retains that exact quote scope and production reference.
Accepted quotes cannot be revised. The original lead and quote remain available so the team can review how the work was agreed.
One delivery version becomes one task
A campaign film with two delivery versions and an interview film with one master creates three tasks. Task titles identify the deliverable, version and format. They stay linked to the job and initially use its delivery date.
Repeating acceptance does not create another job or duplicate the tasks. Approving a priced variation adds tasks for its extra delivery versions in the same way.
Turn the starting list into your production plan
Review individual deadlines, then add asset collection, filming preparation, first-cut review and any other work needed. The automatic tasks describe delivery outputs; they are not a complete production schedule.
Dated open tasks appear in the shared company calendar. Changing the job delivery date later does not automatically move every task or production entry. Review those dates separately.
Keep the existing work clear
Earlier jobs are not backfilled with delivery tasks. Check their existing lists against their agreements. Earlier written-only quotes remain usable, but have no structured versions from which to create delivery tasks.
The app does not reserve crew, book equipment, store media or check uploaded files. Use your current tools for those steps and carry the production reference into their records.
Common questions
Are task owners assigned automatically?
The job has an owner, but individual task ownership is not supported in this release. Use clear task wording and your team process to assign responsibility.
Does a variation replace existing tasks?
Approval adds delivery tasks for the variation. If work is replaced, describe that explicitly and review the original tasks yourself; they are not removed automatically.
